About
Amanda Giddens achieved more than fifteen years of experience, and is passionate about creative direction and visual arts. In 2020, she founded Creative Charlie, LLC, consulting services, while also building her skills in oil painting en plein air.
For nearly eleven years, Amanda built and led decorative textile programs between an overseas supplier and Fortune 50 companies' whose combined value, exceeded $76.6 billion. As acting Global Chief Creative Officer, Amanda managed a $75 million dollar portfolio, with more than sixteen brands, such as Sam's Club (Walmart) $59 billion, The Michaels Companies $5.3 billion, JoAnn $2.5 billion, Hobby Lobby $4.6 billion, Big Lots $1.75 billion, and many more. Her key account, Sam's Club, achieved more than 700% sales growth in under nine years, and until 2023 sold Amanda's designs in clubs.
Industries within her career include: Design, Tech, Media, E-comm, Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Marketing, Branding, Arts, and Entertainment for applications such as: global consumer goods and services, branding, retail packaging and displays, global marketing, e-comm, digital media, merchandising, trade shows, corporate office events and presentations, apparel and real-estate.

Prior to consulting, Amanda worked in highly creative roles for retail/wholesale corporations, such as The Michaels Companies, as acting Product Designer, Developer, and Global Sourcer. At the start of her career, she managed art departments, in roles such as Production Designer and Art Director, for film and TV productions such as 20th Century Fox / The Walt Disney Studios. She is a UNCSA graduate with a BFA in Design, specializing in Visual Arts, Interior Design / Production Design / Art Direction and Management in the global media and entertainment industry.
