1. Trend research at global trade shows (i.e. Christmasworld in Germany)
2. Create inspirational trend guides and assign Pantone numbers by trend
3. Research competitors’ products via retail/market comp shopping
7. Interpret clients' trends and utilize my guide to designate components by story: substrate textures, edge and surface treatments and so on.
9. Produce trend right computer graphics, product designs

8. Create conceptual renderings and propose production processes, ie.

4. Compile and create market data as comparison reports by retailer and product category
5. Collect historical sales data from clients/supplier and create data charts
6. Determine program structure, quantity, widths and more based on data and trends
10. Explore cost effective production opportunities
ie. faux embroidery
11. On-site and on-line development, during sample making process: resolve problems prior to production
12. Collaborate with factory and design managers, providing guidance for sample revisions
13. Offer new ideas: products, processes and packaging
14. Assist in developing and selecting
new, textured substrates for ribbons
15. Assist buyers and development teams at and after meetings
